An in-depth consultation focused on your child’s academic profile, strengths, and needs. Sarah will develop a tailored strategy, outline actionable next steps, and provide a curated list of schools that align with your family’s priorities. A thoughtful conversation about your child’s educational journey — their strengths, challenges, and your family’s hopes for the future. A detailed review of your child’s academic profile, including report cards and any supporting assessments (psychoeducational, OT, or SLP). An overview of the independent school application process, including online applications, applicant events, and both parent and student interviews. Guidance on what to look for at school Open Houses and tours, and strategies for making the most of these experiences. Recommendations of schools that may be a strong match for your child, based on their profile and our discussion. A clear plan and suggested timeline to guide your school search moving forward. An outline of additional services available and how Sarah can continue to support your family. Time to address any questions you may have. The Strategy Session is $500 plus HST. (Included in the Standard Package)
STANDARD PACKAGE
The Standard Package is designed for families who want comprehensive, personalized support throughout the entire school search and application process. With this package, Sarah will: Collaborate with you to identify a list of prospective schools for your child. Keep you informed of Open House dates and key events, while helping you interpret and navigate the subtleties of each. Create a tailored short-list of schools to formally tour once Open Houses are complete. Provide guidance to polish and strengthen your application. Work with your child to build confidence and readiness for their student interview. Prepare you for the parent interview — from anticipating questions, to identifying meaningful stories and insights to share. Share practice tests to help your child feel more comfortable with entrance exams. Connect you with trusted tutors for additional preparation, if desired. Recommend specialists who can support your child’s organization and executive function skills. Offer ongoing guidance, reassurance, and answers to your questions every step of the way — right up until your child finds their best-fit school. The Standard Package is $1500 plus taxes and includes Strategy Session.
INDIVIDUAL SERVICES
For families who prefer hourly, as-needed support, Sarah offers the following individual services: DEBRIEF DISCUSSIONS Guided reflections after school tours or Open Houses to help you and your child process the experience and refine your list of prospective schools. APPLICATION SUPPORT Expert guidance on what to highlight in the application and how to present it in a clear, authentic, and compelling way. COACHING FOR STUDENTS Personalized coaching to prepare your child for the application process and build confidence for interviews. COACHING FOR PARENTS Preparation for parent interviews, including what to expect, common questions, and strategies to support your child throughout the process. CONNECTIONS TO EXPERTS Referrals to trusted professionals in occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, assistive technology, assessments, tutoring, and reading readiness. ONGOING SUPPORT Compassionate, steady guidance to ease stress and provide reassurance at every stage of the application journey. HOURLY RATE Individual services are available on an hourly basis at $200 plus HST per hour, scheduled according to your family’s needs.
